The inner portion of a composite gas cylinder, comprising a metallic or non-metallic vessel, whose purpose is both to contain the gas and transmit the gas pressure to the fibers. The liner may be load sharing or non-load sharing.

ZTEK is known for its pioneering activities in the field of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) system development.
