Description: REB Research & Consulting is a maker of membrane reactors, hydrogen generators and hydrogen purifiers, generally built around palladium-coated metallic membranes. The company was founded in 1987 by Dr. Robert E. Buxbaum, picture below, then a professor at Michigan State, to provide separations consulting and sell the products of his research in hydrogen permeation. An SBIR grant provided the funding to develop our first commercial membranes and hydrogen purifier cells. Later grants led to our Mr. Hydrogen, complete hydrogen purifier and our Me100 methanol-reformer, hydrogen gas generators. We aim to understand your hydrogen separation needs so that we can combine the best quality equipment with strong customer support. Our main customers are laboratories, fuel cell users, and electronic manufacturers.
