Eco Energy International Mansfield, OH
Eco Energy International is a joint venture working to develop and commercialize technologies to produce clean renewable energy from waste. Our patented, modular, scalable technologies produce pure hydrogen at costs rivaling those of large scale facilities but without releasing greenhouse gases (CO2, CO) that traditional processes produce. By using renewable feedstocks, this hydrogen is considered green (renewable) hydrogen that is in high demand in a growing market. These feedstocks include:
• Municipal Solid Waste (MSW): Paper, Wood, Food Wastes, & other Organic Materials
• Agricultural Solid Waste (ASW): Animal, Crop & other Agricultural Wastes
• Food Industry Waste (FIW): Food Processing, Meat Processing and Food Service Wastes; Fryer Oils, Potato Peels
• Lumber Industry Waste (LIW): Forest Slash Piles, Woodchips, Sawdust
• Alcohols: Methanol, Ethanol, Ethylene Glycol, Glycerol (byproduct from bio-diesel)
• Sugars, Starches: Glucose, Fructose, Corn Starch, Potato Starch
• Biomass

REB Research & Consulting Oak Park, Michigan
REB Research & Consulting is a maker of membrane reactors, hydrogen generators and hydrogen purifiers, generally built around palladium-coated metallic membranes. The company was founded in 1987 by Dr. Robert E. Buxbaum, picture below, then a professor at Michigan State, to provide separations consulting and sell the products of his research in hydrogen permeation. An SBIR grant provided the funding to develop our first commercial membranes and hydrogen purifier cells. Later grants led to our Mr. Hydrogen, complete hydrogen purifier and our Me100 methanol-reformer, hydrogen gas generators. We aim to understand your hydrogen separation needs so that we can combine the best quality equipment with strong customer support. Our main customers are laboratories, fuel cell users, and electronic manufacturers.

ZTEK Corporation Woburn, MA
ZTEK is known for its pioneering activities in the field of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) system development. Since 1994, ZTEK has successfully demonstrated a 1kW fuel cell stack, logging 16,000 hours of operation while meeting (and exceeding) its initial performance expectations. A 25kW system with multiple fuel cell stacks and natural gas internal reforming has been developed and is currently in operation, demonstrating reliability of balance-of-plant reforming components. This 25kW system provides the technology basis for ZTEK's commercial-sized systems. A 200kW SOFC/Gas Turbine system is currently under construction.
