A fuel cell incorporating a solid polymer membrane used as its electrolyte. Protons (H+) are transported from the anode to the cathode. The operating temperature range is generally 60°C–100°C.

US FuelCell is a wholly owned subsidiary of US Hybrid with more than 26 years of experience in fuel cell balance of plant components and vehicle development and deployment. US FuelCell was established in 2013 after the purchase of the UTCPower PEM fuel cell Transportation division along with the global PEM IP license.
